What is a good landscape image? I think it's when a photographer manages to create an interpretation of a beautiful view (a rolling field of grass, a colorful sunset, vast woodlands, a mountain, etc) that invokes a certain feeling. 

In addition, the idea is that the eye should wander over the image because there are so many eye-catchers and much to discover.

In my opinion it can be quite challenging to capture the "true" beauty of a place since nature can't be controlled in the same way as, for example, directing a person or arranging a set.

To be a good landscape photographer is to adapt to sudden weather changes, to "roll with the flow" and to be patient. It's an exciting challenge to sink my teeth into.
