Street
Street photography, also sometimes called candid photography, is photography conducted for art or enquiry that features unmediated chance encounters and random incidents within public places.
Honestly, I have never really been aware that I've followed the Street genre when doing city shoots. I've wanted to give a visual description of what I see that maybe no one else sees or at least not many people notice.
There's one important ingredient in Street that I love - and that's people. People of all kinds in all situations - happy, depressing, nice, loving, interesting etc.
For me Street is like creating art without rules. The most important thing is to capture the moment so it really transfers a feeling when someone is viewing the image. As if the viewer is looking into another person's reality and feeling that person's presence.
